Terms of Service

LOCKED IN WARS is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18. The game involves live, unmoderated, peer-to-peer audio and video between strangers and is not appropriate for minors.

We may terminate accounts where we have reason to believe the user is under 18.

You and another randomly matched user briefly connect via webcam and microphone. The objective is to make the other user smile, laugh, or break composure within a short timer. Computer-vision is used to detect reactions. Detection is not perfect and is intentionally error-prone for entertainment value.

You agree NOT to:

• Show nudity, sexual content, or sexually explicit gestures.
• Engage in harassment, hate speech, threats, or doxxing.
• Show or facilitate violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
• Show minors on camera or pretend to be one.
• Record, screen-capture, or stream another player without their explicit consent and without complying with applicable law.
• Attempt to deanonymize, contact, or stalk other users.
• Use bots, exploits, or modify the client to gain advantage.

Violations may result in immediate termination, IP-level bans, and referral to law enforcement where required by law.

We do not record, store, or transmit your video feed to our servers. Peer video is streamed directly between players via WebRTC. However, the other player can record locally using their device — which is outside of our control. Treat every session as if it could be recorded.

Guest play is free. Optional accounts allow Elo, ranks, and stats persistence. Cosmetics and powerups (when offered) are non-refundable digital goods and confer no real-world value.

You retain ownership of any content you transmit. You grant us a limited license to display your username and stats publicly on leaderboards. You agree not to upload or transmit copyrighted content you don't have rights to.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations or suspected violations of these terms.

The service is provided "as is". The product involves unmoderated interaction with strangers and we make no warranty about the conduct of other players. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service.
